Your Role:
As a Tax Manager, you will be the partner’s main support and the client’s primary point of contact.
This role is responsible for leading tax engagements, serving as the main point of contact for clients and internal partners. Manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables, ensuring work is completed efficiently and to firm standards, while mentoring team members and maintaining compliance with tax laws.
You will provide technical oversight by reviewing complex tax returns, offering feedback to staff, researching regulations, and proactively identifying planning opportunities. They also resolve tax authority issues and deliver clear, strategic advice to clients and partners.
You will be required to build strong client relationships through regular communication, anticipating needs, and delivering valuable insights that support both tax and broader business goals. Additionally, you will support firm development by contributing to process improvements, enhancing training initiatives, and fostering a collaborative team environment.

Requirements:
5+ years of experience working with corporate, partnership, and individual income tax returns in a public accounting firm
2+ year managing a small team
Bachelor’s degree in accounting/tax/finance
CPA, EA, or LLM/JD in tax designation
Access to strong Wi-Fi
A dedicated professional workspace at home or at a physical office
Skilled in project management, prioritization, and scheduling to keep engagements on track.
Able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines, ensuring consistent, on-time project delivery.
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) across email, telephone, and video, tailoring messages for client understanding.
Comfort in conveying complex tax and financial strategies to clients in a clear, accessible way.
Software skills required: Zoom, QuickBooks Online, Google Workspace Apps and Microsoft Office Suite products
Software skills preferred: UltraTaxCS and Canopy Tax (training will be provided if needed)

Your Role:
As a Tax Senior, you will be the manager’s main support.
This role manages tax projects from start to finish, ensuring deadlines and budgets are met while delivering high-quality, client-ready work. It involves coordinating with managers, tracking progress, mentoring junior staff, and maintaining clear documentation.
The position requires strong technical expertise to review tax documents, make necessary adjustments, conduct research, and resolve minor issues independently—all with minimal rework. It also includes building strong client relationships through proactive communication, financial guidance, and attentive, service-focused support.
